April 20-22, 2020, Bellevue, WA, United States. 8th Annual Disease Modeling Symposium

The Institute for Disease Modeling will hold the 8th Annual Disease Modeling Symposium on April 20-22, 2020, in Bellevue, WA. This is one weekend after the MIDAS 2020 meeting and an excellent opportunity for MIDAS participants to extend their stay in the Seattle area and engage in further talks with IDM colleagues. The Seattle area is a great place to spend the weekend with your family and friends!

The Annual Disease Modeling Symposium is a great opportunity to share modeling methods, progress, and to discuss research priorities and ideas with a global community of infectious disease modelers. From the IDM website: “The research and modeling team at the Institute for Disease Modeling is focused on providing support to disease eradication programs and other global health endeavors through a variety of modeling and statistical approaches. They build mechanistic agent-based models in order to understand model assumptions and input data, examine the effects of population-level and within-host phenomena, and stimulate the impact of combined interventions, especially for all phases of an eradication effort.”
