December 3-6, Charleston, SC, United States, Epidemics 7 – International Conference on Infectious Disease Dynamics

The 7th Epidemics takes place this year in Charleston, SC, and many MIDAS members are organizing or participating in this event. Neil Ferguson is one of the Conference Chairs, and the Scientific Committee includes Caroline Buckee, Sarah Cobey, and Justin Lessler.

This conference regularly attracts over 400 scientists, with representatives from many of the major research groups in this area worldwide. Among those giving invited lectures are MIDAS members Don Burke, Betz Halloran, Justin Lessler, and Virginia Pitzer. The MIDAS Coordination Center is hosting a booth at the conference, attended by PI Wilbert van Panhuis and Center Coordinator Jessica Salerno.
