This summer, the Decision Analysis in R for Technologies in Health (DARTH) Workgroup* is offering a 3-day hands-on workshop on cost-effectiveness analysis and decision modeling in the R programming environment. We welcome both in-person and virtual participants. This year, there are two in-person locations: the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, USA and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
Cost-effectiveness and decision modeling in R
When: Aug. 27–29, 2025, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Central Time / 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Eastern Time.
Where: University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN
Day 1: Introduction to cost-effectiveness and decision trees in R
Day 2: Markov models and probabilistic sensitivity analysis in R
Day 3: Microsimulation modeling and model calibration in R
For more information, fees, and to register, visit the Decision Modeling Using R workshop page. Early bird registration ends July 15, 2025.
*The DARTH Workgroup is a multi-institutional, multi-university collaborative effort comprised of researchers who have a passion for transparent and open-source solutions to decision analysis in health. The aim of this collaboration is to expand knowledge and develop educational materials that empower people to construct R-based decision models. Visit the DARTH Workgroup website.
