The Epidemics Special Issue on Artificial Intelligence for Infectious Disease Dynamics aims to highlight the role AI can play in the study of infectious disease dynamics. This includes understanding how these methods can improve inference and prediction through new methodologies and by unlocking access to underused data sets. Artificial Intelligence is taken in its broader sense, which comprises machine learning and other recent advances in statistical and computational methods.
