Bio

I am Jianing Wang who is a doctoral student in Biostatistics, working with jointly under the supervision of Dr. Benjamin Linas and Dr. Laura White at Boston Medical Center and Boston University. My research involves the application and development of statistical methodologies dealing with issues raised from infectious diseases. Specifically, I am working with a research team under the mentorship of Dr. White on Bayesian modeling for the researching effective strategies to prevent opioid death model. Prior to the study in Biostatistics, I worked in research unit of infectious disease at Boston Medical Center as a statistical analyst, where the focus was on the investigation of the comparative- and cost-effectiveness of interventions to identify and treat HIV, HCV and Opioid Use Disorder, employing methods of statistics and epidemiology.
