We are hosting a free 3-day workshop on 16th-18th of September 2026 at LSHTM! Participants will learn how to use the Julia programming language to build deterministic models from first principles, starting with the classic SIR model and ordinary differential equations, then extend into stochastic and structural complexity, including jump processes, stochastic differential equations, and observation models for real data.
Due to limited capacity and anticipated high demand, admission for this free event will be handled via a lottery.
How to attend
- Step 1: Submit your Expression of Interest via our expression of interest form by 14th of August.
- Step 2: Wait for the draw! We will randomly select attendees and notify them on 17th of August.
- Step 3: If selected, you will receive an email to officially register.
