The webinar below is an introduction to the new NIH data management and sharing policies, including specific recommendations applicable infectious disease modeling research.

About the presenter

Helenmary Sheridan is a member of the MIDAS Coordination Center, and currently serves as a Data Services Librarian at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Helenmary’s recent research work focuses on advancing Open Scholarship (as encompassing open access, open data, open educational resources, and all other forms of openness in the scholarly and research environment) and Data Curation (via Data Catalogs and Data Curation Networks).

Helenmary is also the author the NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy guide for the University of Pittsburgh. The majority of the information in the policy guide is general information applicable to MIDAS researchers.
