Join a Mathematical Modeling Journal Club Organized by CCDD at Harvard

We invite you/your colleagues to a monthly online mathematical modeling journal club organized by the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics (CCDD) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Sign up here!

What
The journal club is a platform for participants to review articles to learn more about mathematical modeling approaches, understand how authors reached their conclusions, and determine the study’s relevance in informing practice and research. The journal club aims to assess intermediate and advanced infectious disease modeling methods to inform public health responses. We encourage members to regularly attend the journal club sessions, review articles in advance, and contribute to group discussions.

Who
Members of the club include public health professionals and researchers interested in using mathematical modeling to inform public policy. Participants include postdocs and staff/faculty from the CDC, CCDD, and other public health institutions in the US and outside the US. We welcome all levels of modeling experience, from novice to expert.

We meet from 10-11 a.m. EST (Boston, USA) on Zoom on the third Wednesday of every month. The next journal club will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, 10-11 AM EST.
