As you may know, the MIDAS Coordination Center (MCC) is funded by the NIH to support computational needs of MIDAS researchers at no charge . We have setup an on-demand High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster on the Google Cloud Platform at discounted pricing through the NIH that is dedicated to MIDAS researchers. In addition, the MCC HPC team stands ready assist MIDAS members in applying for large-scale NSF-funded supercomputing capabilities through the ACCESS program (formerly XSEDE). If you have HPC needs, or would like to explore if HPC can help your research, please reach out to our team to benefit from the available resources!
Several MIDAS members have already benefited from the MIDAS HPC compute resources, but the available resources are currently underutilized.
