Bio

Alan is a 4th year graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame, advised by Dr. Sean Moore. His research centers on epidemiology and disease modelling, with a primary focus on the interactions of cholera and climate in Africa. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Alan did his undergraduate degree in Geography and Music at Maynooth University with a focus on medical and health geographies and climatology, and a Masters in Geocomputation at the National Centre for Geocomputation with a research project in spatial epidemiolgy.
