Bio

Autumn Gertz is a Program Coordinator with the Computational Epidemiology Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital. She helps to manage the group’s crowdsourced surveillance systems portfolio including Flu Near You and Outbreaks Near Me, as well as general project management for HealthMap.org related projects. Autumn is trained in epidemiology and has a background in microbiology and experience with surveillance and epidemiologic research. She is particularly interested in the public health implications of infectious diseases, specifically infectious disease epidemiology and surveillance.
