One position is available for a full-time Postdoctoral fellow in the project: “Modeling Population Mobility Effects on Dengue Fever Transmission Dynamics: A Comprehensive Study between the United Arab Emirates and Oman ” The main goal of this project is to assess various scenarios of Dengue Fever spread, focusing on the UAE and Oman as a case study. The project uses deterministic and stochastic mathematical epidemiological models to analyze the population mobility between the two nations and its influence on disease dynamics, investigating the effectiveness of mobility restrictions and other non-pharmacological interventions to mitigate transmission.
