Research Software Engineer, Colorado School of Public Health

The Colorado School of Public Health is a unique and collaborative graduate school that combines the collective expertise of three Colorado universities: the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. 

The Center for Innovative Design & Analysis, the biostatistics and data science collaborative research center, and its’ collaborative partner, the Colorado COVID-19 Modeling Group, is looking for a research software engineer to play a key role in the development and evaluation of mathematical modeling tools for SARS-Cov-2 and in the future develop packages for biostatistician methodology researchers in the center. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team including biostatisticians, epidemiologists, mathematicians, infectious disease modelers and economists and to collaborate with state and local health officials to inform COVID-19 response in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West.
