The MIDAS Coordination Center is organizing an upcoming webinar to connect prospective graduate students with faculty and programs seeking students to work in infectious disease modeling.
Ideal Speakers: Faculty currently recruiting graduate students (MS/PhD) whose research uses computational, statistical, or mathematical modeling to study infectious disease dynamics — including disease pathogenesis, pathogen transmission, control interventions, or outbreak forecasting.
Speaker Expectations: A short presentation (5-10 minutes or shorter, depending on number of participants) introducing your lab/program, current research focus, and what you’re looking for in prospective students, followed by a brief Q&A with attendees.
